COLWALL Cricket Club first and second XI will be playing in the Worcestershire County League next season.
After many successful years in the West of England Premier League (WEPL), club president Adrian Berry said: "We were very nearly promoted into premier two and this would have meant travelling to Taunton. Our players see their future in Worcester-shire and then the Birmingham League."
The club is looking to the future and has a target of reaching the Lords final of the National Village knockout and promotion to the Birmingham League over the next few seasons.
Chairman Gary King said: "We have a very bright and exciting future. Investing in the development of local players will be our key to greater success."
New players are welcome and should call Gary King on 01684 565071 or Tim Riley on 01684 560214.
