TELEVISION star Martin Shaw heads the cast of a major new production at Malvern Theatres.
Robert Bolt's Tony Award-winning play A Man For All Seasons comes to Malvern as part of a select tour prior to the West End.
Set during the reign of Henry VIII, churchman Thomas More must chose between his integrity and certain death after the king opts for a religious revolution.
Shaw stars in the BBC's Judge John Deed and was recently voted the most popular actor currently starring on British television.
He is also known to millions as Adam Dalgleish, the detective commander from the BBC adaptations of P D James's The Murder Room and Death in Holy Orders.
A Man For All Seasons runs from Monday, October 31, to Saturday, November 5, and tickets are £18-£26 from 01684 892277.
A stage adaptation of Daphne de Maurier's classic novel Rebecca plays at Malvern Theatres next week. Tickets for the production, which stars Nigel Havers as Maxim De Winter, have already sold out.
