£1.2bn cheque
RETAIL tycoon Philip Green revealed Britain's biggest pay cheque today after netting a £1.2bn windfall from his Topshop-to-Burton fashion empire.
Mr Green maintained his reputation as a retailer with the midas touch when he surprised the City with the scale of the dividend award from his Arcadia chain, which is 92% owned by the entrepreneur and his family.
