YOUNG children have shopped around to learn the best way to help Third World traders.
Children from Perry Wood Primary and Nursery School, Ronkswood, Worcester, visited their local Co-op store to learn all about Fairtrade.
The Co-op is the nation's leading supporter of Fairtrade, which ensures a fair deal and better working conditions for growers and producers in the Third World.
Not only did the children get their hands on some juicy fruit and tasty chocolate but they also received a Co-op education pack on Fairtrade that includes stories, quizzes and lots of photos.
Ronskswood Co-op manager Gill Corbett said: "Children love to help others and like the idea of Fairtrade because simply by buying an everyday product such as a banana or cake from the Fairtrade range they are helping to make a real difference to the lives of people in developing countries."
