VALE residents are being urged to dig deep into their pockets for the County Air Ambulance.
It's all part of National Giving Week, which started on Monday, October 17.
With 2005 officially named Year of the Volunteer, the air ambulance is not only urging residents to give a small contribution, but also to consider donating some of their time to the service.
Fund-raising development manager for the Air Ambulance Paul Weir said: "Becoming a volunteer has benefits for both parties and is a great addition to any CV. We need people that can organise events, raise awareness of the service and assist in raising funds."
He added: "Every penny donated is gratefully received as it all goes towards the £2.4m we need each year to operate."
The County Air Ambulance serves an area of 8,000 square miles and a population of 7.8 million in 11 counties including Worcestershire.
