KIDDERMINSTER Carolians Under-sevens' first matches of the season ended in a 30-10 defeat and a 25-20 win against Stourbridge.
Among the tries were Alexander Renton and Jack Wood who both scored three and Luke Halcott who scored one.
The U-14s bowed out of the North Midlands Cup at the Preliminary Round stage with a 31-12 defeat at Sutton Coldfield.
It was 7-7 at half-time with a converted try by Tom Leech and although Alex Parsons dotted down after the break they were overpowered by their hosts.
There were mixed emotions for the U-8s who lost 30-25, drew 20-20 and won 25-15 in their three matches with Stourbridge.
Try scorers were: Tom Ford (6), Alex Brady (3), Tom Middleton (2), Bradley Hughes (1), Elliot Murphy (1), Jack (1).
KCs U-12s beat Stourbridge 21-0 with Johnny Mockett bagging a brace, Charlie Newbould scoring and Tom Redfearn kicking three conversions.
KCs development team suffered a heavy 35-0 defeat against a strong Stourbridge team.
Despite the result, KCs showed buckets of commitment and put in some excellent tackles.
Special mentions to Connor Kennedy, Joe Broughton, Ben Churchill, Rob Abraham, Luke Challener, Oliver Townsend and Alfie Richards for their work rate.
Chaddesley Corbett U-16s suffered their first defeat of the season when they went down 38-17 at Old Laurentians.
Bobby Lawrenson scored two tries, while Chaddesley were also awarded a penalty try as they played some excellent aggressive rugby.
But inept defensive tackling proved to be their downfall and their hosts took full advantage.
Chaddesley U-10s enjoyed two convincing victories at Bournville, running out 45-0 and 50-0 winners.
In the first game Ross Westwood led the way with as treble with braces for Rob Llewellyn, Louis Ellesmore and Oliver Douglas.
Westwood was also a hat-trick hero in game two, while Zach Walker scored twice with singles from Jack Sanders, Sam Needham, Sam Smith, Oliver Douglas and Jonty Newbold.
There were also two crushing wins for Chaddesley U-10s who defeated Old Hales 50-0 twice.Once again the tries were shared out across the team.
