THREE school friends from Evesham have released a trio of CDs and recently won a county competition.
As the band Rictus they have been producing their own material for the past three years and their latest album, Anything But, has a rocky, punk sound.
Band members Adam Kelly, on drums, Oly Edkins, bass guitar, and Matt Larkins, lead guitar, were thrilled to hear they were entered into a competition after sending several demo tapes to radio stations.
Oliver's father Martin Edkins, who is thrilled with the boys' achievements, said he hoped their success continues.
"I am pleased the boys won the text-in competition organised by BBC Hereford and Worcester. We send in the demo tape to try and get the band heard on the radio.
"They obviously thought they were good enough to be entered into this competition."
