A TASTE of Europe is about to descend on Kidderminster when the town hosts its first continental market later this month.
The travelling food market will have 30 stands offering a wide range of quality goods and authentic foods for sale.
It will be held in the High Street on October 28 and 29 from 9am until 5pm.
Stalls will include cheese and meats from France, olives from Greece, cakes from Holland, wine from France and Spain, chocolates from Belgium and soups, honey, jam and chutneys from Britain.
For the bargain hunter, or early Christmas shopper, the continental traders will be selling a range of gifts.
The market is being organised by the district council, Kidderminster Town Centre Partnership and The Free Markets.
Cabinet member for commercial services, Councillor Marcus Hart, said: "I am sure the market will attract shoppers from all over the district. These markets bring colour and bustle back to the streets along with a sense of discovery and good quality fayre.
"Shoppers will be able to wander around sampling some of Europe's finest produce."
