FECKENHAM boss Lee Adams was this week hoping his side would repeat the confidence they showed in Saturday's win over Brocton in last night's planned trip to Shifnal.

The hosts have a miserly defence but boast an attack which is far from prolific and the Millers manager will be hoping his side can continue to hit the target after dominating against Brocton in a comfortable 3-0 win.

"Shifnal have only conceded eight in 11 games," said Adams, "but they are struggling to score with only ten in eleven, there are only two sides in the league who have scored less goals."

Adams described Saturday's win as 'the best we've played all season' as goals from Hands brothers Mark and James, either side of a Kevin Leggat penalty did the damage.

"It was refreshing to watch," added the manager, "it was the most complete performance we have put in.

"We were much the better side in the first half and missed one or two very good chances but Mark Hands headed in from a corner after 35 minutes.

"By that stage Brett Skinner had hit the bar and Ryan Field had missed a good chance. Ryan was pulled down for the penalty and after that we knocked it around a bit."

But Adams was last night set to be missing left-winger Mark Foster and central midfielder Chris Wilkie, ruled out by work commitments.

The duo are set to return for Saturday's trip to Bolehall Swifts another match for which Adams is being cautious.

"I thought Saturday could have been a potential banana skin for us and Bolehall is another tough fixture for us," he added.

ALVECHURCH held Stourbridge to a 2-2 draw last Tuesday but lost 3-1 at Colaville on Saturday. They were set to visit Romulus last night and boss Shaun Cunnington is hoping to arrange a friendly against Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.
