Droitwich men's 2nd XI 3 Shrewsbury men's 2nd XI 1
Droitwich made a successful trip to Shrewsbury in their latest Coaching Solutions West Midlands Premier league fixture on Saturday.
Droitwich bounced back from a poor start, conceding an early goal, to comfortably win the game.
Nick Bates was on the end of a flowing attacking move to level the scores for Droitwich.
Spa then set about taking the lead and Shrewsbury's goalkeeper made several good saves to keep his team in the match.
In the second half Droitwich piled forward in search of a second goal and Bates was on hand to complete an incisive attacking move.
The home side tried to battle back but Droitwich, marshalled by Neil Davies, smothered their attacks.
Spa then completed the game and ensured victory when Bates set up Blackmore for the final goal.
Captain Pete Best is set to miss Saturday's game at home to Telford and Shifnal (12pm start).

YOUTHFUL Bromsgrove were no match for a potent Walsall side on Saturday.
Bromsgrove never recovered from two first half goals that handed Walsall the advantage.
Captain Alan Morris said: "The scoreline makes it look like it was a lot worse than it actually was. But this is a young side which will get better."
Bromsgrove take on Yardley at home on Saturday (2.30pm start).
