Castle Vale Reserves 2 Droitwich Spa 1

SPA manager Tom Goss is concerned that his players are beginning to suffer a crisis of confidence after Droitwich suffered their sixth defeat in the Midland Combination Division Two on Saturday.

Droitwich produced a battling performance after going 2-0 down, but despite a Matt Jenkins goal they could not get the point their endeavour deserved.

Goss admitted results were starting to affect his players' self-belief.

He said: "Our confidence is starting to be effected by results. But I can't fault the players they worked hard and did everything but get the equaliser.

"The hardest thing now is to keep the confidence high because if we lose that then our situation becomes worse."

Goss will be missing Matt Morton, Ian Cottrill and Andy Pheasant for Warwick's visit to King George's playing fields on Saturday (2.45pm kick off).

Pheasant is suffering from a recurring ankle problem.

Goss said: "We have win by hook or by crook, I don't care how we win as long as we do."
