Bromsgrove Rovers Youth 2 AFC Telford Youth 3
ROVERS' young guns crashed out of the FA Youth Cup in the second qualifying round on Monday night.
A late winner by Telford saw off a spirited Bromsgrove side at the Victoria Ground.
After going a goal down early on Myron Semper hit the back of the net to level the scores.
However, Telford scored just before the break to take a 2-1 lead at half time.
The home side pushed for an equaliser and Adam Potter brought his side level with a well-struck shot.
However, they crashed out of the cup when Telford forced a corner and scored with fives minutes to go.
Despite late Rovers pressure it was too late for the hosts to pull back a third goal.
Bromsgrove Rovers' second string swept aside Barwell in the Midland Combination Reserve Division on Saturday.
Joe Cummins opened the scoring in the fifth minute, before Alieu Sohna bagged a brace to make it 3-0 by half time.
Barwell pulled a consolation goal back in the second half. The reserves go to Quorn on Saturday (2.45pm kick off).
