THE Government recently announced a disbanding of police forces in present form and emerging as much larger regional units.

This naturally caused angry letters to be written over this further example of Brussels' wishes regarding the regionalisation of this country. These regions would be directly responsible to the European federal state with the name England being taken off the map. In his letter of October 8, D E Margrett wrote, and I quote, "I do know the EU had nothing to do with it". Really? He must have their ear. But did you notice the play on words when he ignored the official statement about regionalisation and gives us the harmless sounding word "restructuring."
