JAMES Roberts (Letters, Wednesday, October 12) asks why the city council is considering building another car park within the city boundaries when it is trying to reduce the cars within the city.
I asked a similar question on February 2 this year and had no reply.
I would suggest that before councillors are elected they all take an examination to establish their ability to use their common sense, which they seem to lack.
PETER ALCOCK,
Upton Snodsbury.
