Nick Hall, an ex-working boatman, gave an illustrated talk on commercial canal carrying at our usual venue - the Boat and Railway, Stoke Works, Bromsgrove.
Last weekend our society shop was at The Bonded Warehouse, Stourbridge, at a boat gathering.
Our next meeting will be on held on Tuesday, November 1, at the Boat and Railway at 8pm and is an illustrated talk on pub signs by Alan Rose. All visitors are welcome.
