PILES of pumpkins will serve as the perfect Halloween backdrop to a week of fun-packed activities for children in the area.
Over 1,000 pumpkins are being prepared for delivery to the Webbs of Wychbold garden centre.
Special hands-on pumpkin workshops and a spooky riverside trail will fuel the Halloween atmosphere at the site near Droitwich. The pumpkin workshops will take place from October 24 to 30 from 11am to 4pm. Children can scoop out a pumpkin ready for a Webbs staff member to carve a Halloween design. Tickets cost £2.50 per child.
For outdoor fun, a trail of pumpkins will lead youngsters on a path of discovery through the centre's riverside gardens.
The free event will take place every afternoon from October 24 to 28.
