FUNDRAISERS in the area will be partying their socks off during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Helen Robinson of Studley is organising a Pink Party for the campaign on Tuesday, October 25 in Studley Youth Centre in conjunction with Escape Arts Workshop.
The party will take place from 10am-2pm and Ms Robinson is hoping to raise as much cash as possible towards vital breast cancer research.
There will be a pink bring and buy stall, pink refreshments and everyone is expected to wear pink. A prize will be awarded to the best dressed person in pink.
Ms Robinson said: "Throwing a pink party is something I've wanted to do for a long time as we all know someone who has been touched by this dreadful disease.
"It's good to raise money to help find a cure but having fun while doing it, that's the pink icing on the cake."
Anyone who would like to join in the fun can call Ms Robinson on 458120.
