DROITWICH golfer John Bickerton could not match his heroics last week as he missed the cut at the Open de Madrid on Friday.
The professional, who won the Canaries Open a week before, could only manage a level-par score of 142 to miss out on the last two rounds at the Club de Campo.
In round one Bickerton bogeyed the first hole, but birdied the seventh. He dropped shots on the 11th and 18th and birdied the 13th and 14th.
In the second round Bickerton bogeyed the 11th and 13th and birdied the 15th and 16th.
