COLOURFUL handmade lanterns will be paraded around Arrow Valley Lake next weekend.
Visitors are invited to enjoy, and participate in the procession on October 28 at 6.45pm.
The lanterns will be made in a series of half term workshops at the Countryside Centre, although there will also be an opportunity to buy them on the night.
Youngsters over six years old can join one of the workshops, taking place on October 25, 26 and 27 from 10.30-noon and 1.30-3pm.
Each session is £3 and lanterns will be made and decorated from a range of craft materials including willow and crepe paper.
To book a place, call Val Wilson at the Battens Drive centre on 464000.
Admission to the procession is free and refreshments will be served.
