A BRISK Easterly breeze last Sunday left Arden Sailing Club members working hard for their results.
The first race of the day was the 11th in the Pursuit Series and was won by Niall Campbell despite an additional penalty of a mounting personal handicap,
At the conclusion of the fixed period of one hour, Campbell's Enterprise, crewed by David Stephen, was first home followed by the Comet of Keith Stevens and the Enterprise of Jeremy and Michelle Griffiths.
The wind had dropped by the time the second race of the afternoon started - the sixth of the Arden Burgee Series.
Although the handicapping meant that the order of finishing didn't tally with the overall placings, the corrected times showed the same first three places for this race as for the first race of the afternoon.
