OPTICIANS in Worcester, Evesham, Kidderminster and Stourport-on-Severn are supporting the fight against cancer this month.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and staff at Specsavers are getting pretty in pink for the occa-sion and encouraging their customers to do the same.
The company is working in conjunction with the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer to sell a range of pink merchandise. This includes exclusive, limited edition, rose-tinted glasses, which come with a pink case and high-tech cleaning cloth with the Breakthrough logo on it.
Alan Richards, store director, said "We are delighted to work with Break-through and this is a great way for people in Worcester to pick up a air of trendy pink shades while raising money for a good cause."
