WORK is underway to convert the Safeway store at Cover Croft Road in Droitwich into a Morrisons .
As well as offering more choice on fresh foods, competitive pricing alongside many special offers and extra value throughout the store, one of the key tasks of the conversion work will be to introduce the Morrisons Market Street format to the store. There will be a new pie shop, a butchers, a salad bar and a bakery, as well as a fish counter.
Most of the work will be done when the shop is closed and customers will see little disruption.
However, the store will be shut for four days in November when final changes will be made before the launch on Thursday, November 17.
