WORCESTER Warriors have appointed Matt Sherratt as community rugby development officer after expanding its community department.
Former Warrior Dan Zaltzman heads up the department and has developed key rugby links with primary schools and junior rugby clubs across Worcestershire.
Matt brings with him a wealth of coaching experience, being employed by the Rugby Football Union and the Gloucestershire Sports Partnership as a community rugby coach. He has experience of coaching a wide spectrum of ages and abilities from Tag Rugby at primary schools to National Academy players.
One of Matt's main duties is to take control of the Worcestershire U13/U14/U15 rugby development groups, as well as improving links with schools, ensuring that young players both male and female across the county will be given quality Warriors coaching.
