FLANKER Tom Harding has joined Worcester Warriors from New Zealand club North Harbour.
The 23-year-old open-side has agreed a deal that will keep him at Sixways until the end of the 2006-2007 season.
Harding has represented New Zealand at Under 16, 19 and 21s level and was part of the winning side in the Under 19 and 21 World Cups.
By virtue of his parents, he has a British passport and has dual international qualification for both England and Wales.
Worcester's director of rugby John Brain said: "We have known about Tom for some time. He is a good young player who has performed well for North Harbour in this year's NPC competition.
"He will considerably improve our strength and depth in the back row for the remainder of this season and next."
Warriors entertain Leicester in the Guinness 'A' League North Conference tonight at Sixways (7.30).
