WARRIORS director of rugby John Brain was frustrated with his side's performance despite victory over Leeds Tykes at Sixways.
Brain was annoyed his side did not put the game to bed and presented Leeds with the chance to get back into the match with numerous penalties.
"We got the result but the performance for me wasn't good enough," he said. "I'm very, very frustrated. I don't think I've been involved with a game where we've won and been so frustrated.
"Leeds were there for a bonus point I felt and we had a lot of territory but we made some mistakes when we were on the attack and we gave away quite a lot of penalties when we had them on the back foot.
"We've got to have a look at that and we can't afford to keep performing like that."
Brain knows his side need to up their game if they are to compete with the leading sides in the Premiership.
He said: "I think we did dominate the game but (it was frustrating) to only win by seven points and for them to get a bonus point.
"To be fair they hung in there very well and we didn't put them away. That is the biggest disappointment for the players I think."
But it wasn't all doom and gloom for Warriors. There were imporvements among the backs who were boosted by the arrival of Aisea Havili.
Thinus Delport was playing his first game of the season on the wing, while Ben Hinshelwood was drafted into the centre alongside Thomas Lombard.
Brain said: "I thought our backs played better. We haven't had that back-line on the pitch before.
"They will take time to bed in. But I thought they looked a bit more incisive.
"I think why we didn't score was because we gave away penalties when we were on the offensive and let them off the hook. There were a couple of knock-ons when all we had to do was recycle the ball and go across.
"In rugby you have got to look at your performance but if we as a group, players and coaches, accept that as our level then we are not going to beat opposition further up the table than Leeds, which is what we want to do."
