HEREFORD golfer David Park recorded an impressive finish at the Madrid Open after ending on 13 under par.
Park tied for 12th place with the likes of former Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal in the Spanish capital, 10 shots behind winner Raphael Jacquelin.
Rounds of 68 and 69, either side of 67s, saw the Welshman maintain a high position on the leaderboard throughout the event.
Droitwich Spa's John Bickerton missed the cut after finishing his first two rounds on level par.
Meanwhile, it was Jacquelin's long-awaited first tour victory after 238 events and 27 top-10 finishes.
