n KASHMIR, India and Pakistan - all have cost the British government and taxpayers millions of pounds by way of financial aid and heartache since 1947.
Yet, on hearing of recent devastation and loss of life as it hit the Pakistani region of Kashmir. Britain immediately donated £500m to disaster relief effort.
UK rescue teams, aircraft and charity aid also beat many countries to be there before others were aware that there was a problem.
Yet the Muslim Council of Great Britain and other ethnic groupings belittle our generosity and say "too little, too late". Come on, former Mayor Allah Ditta, Worcester Racial Equality Council et al - put pen to paper and give us your version of events.
FRANK L JONES,
Malvern.
