The team that collects our refuse and recyclables seem to insist on leaving two replacement sacks. This, despite me only placing one filled sack outside my gate for collection. The collection team has even left several sacks at times when I have been away from home and there has been nothing left outside my gate for collection.
While a roll of black sacks for general waste is supplied annually, to date I have 17 spare recycling sacks and that number looks set to rise. Multiply this figure by the number of households in the MHDC area and it's quite worrying.
I am deeply concerned that the liberal scattering of sacks is just creating more waste, undermining the recycling effort, and costing me and other tax-payers dearly.
