LAST Saturday night at about 10.45pm, the residents of Morgan Court, and no doubt other residents within the area, were startled to be subjected to a number of loud explosions from fireworks, which no doubt came from some kind of celebrations nearby.
This disturbed some of the residents and annoyed others but they would have been very much less disturbed if they had known that fireworks were to be exploded at some time during the evening, and probably would have watched them.
Therefore, if fireworks are on the menu at celebrations other than on bonfire night, it would be beneficial if those planning these celebrations could warn neighbours nearby that this is to happen. This is called good manners.
