AM sure no-one would deny that Upton-upon-Severn is a most charming olde worlde little town.
Neither, I am sure, could anyone deny that the bridge leading into this charming little town is monstrous and has no charm whatsoever.
In fact it is quite incongruous! I am fairly certain that no money will ever be available to pull it down and to build something more appropriate.
But surely a few coats of paint would be possible. There are many similar bridges, as well as railway bridges, that have been transformed in this way. What about two shades of green or two shades of blue?
So please the powers that be, whoever you are, do something about it!
