COLWALL and Hereford fought out 2-2 draw in their Severn division one match at the Hereford Lesiure Centre on Saturday.
HEREFORD 2, COLWALL WHC 2
Both sides played good hockey in an end-to-end match. Hereford opened the scoring in the first-half, with Laura Entwistle surging down the right to provide the cross for Gemma Richards to turn in for a well-taken goal to equalise
Hereford again took the lead with a well-struck shot that beat the defenders and Colwall goalkeeper. Colwall levelled the score with Enwistle again providing the cross, this time to Sam Shail, who put the ball past the advancing keeper.
Both sides had chances to win the match, but a combination of good defending and missed opportunities meant the sides shared the points.
Colwall's next match will be against Cirencester at Ledbury Leisure Centre tomorrow (Saturday).
