THE sun-baked streets of Verona will be coming to the Malvern Hills as one of the greatest love stories ever told is brought to life.
Shakespeare' 4 Kidz will be bringing the Bard's timeless classic Romeo and Juliet to Malvern's Forum Theatre on Thursday, October 20.
It will be the first time the company's rolling musical production had been on stage for six years and features a combination of Shakespearean and modern-day English, along with some unforgettable songs and dances.
The play tells the story of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet - the only children from two feuding families - who meet and fall in love before romance turns to tragedy and they both die.
The production is aimed at those studying Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and GCSE, with the company's re-workings of the Bard's famous tales allowing theatre-lovers of all ages to enjoy Shakespeare with no fear of being unable to understand the language. Performances are at 10.30am and 1.30pm and all tickets are £8, from the box office.
