MARTIN Howles knocked 75 seconds off his previous personal best time, competing for Amazing Feet Running Club at the Cardiff half marathon.
Howles finished the race in one hour 29 minutes 45 seconds.
Phil Wood completed the race in 1-40-4, and Gary Healty in 1-55-0.
Eight club members competed in one of Worcestershire's oldest surviving races, the Beacon Race, on Saturday.
Shaw Pye led club runners home, finishing in the top 20.
Those who took part in the seven-mile course, climbing up and over Malvern Hills, in addition to Pye were: David Pye, Rachel Ward, Pete Wall, Mike Clackson, Christine Smith, Judith Hardwick and Shona Cutler.
