DRIVERS across Wyre Forest have been warned to be on their guard following a spate of thefts from vehicles over recent weeks.
Among items taken from cars and vans in Kidderminster have been tools, mobile phones, laptop computers, navigation systems and personal belongings.
Police sergeant, John Elliott, said: "We want motorists to be aware that these offences have taken place and to take extra care themselves, particularly when leaving their car or van for the night."
He advised drivers to get into the habit of taking valuable items out of their vehicles, particularly overnight, and park offroad or in a garage, if possible.
