I FELT I must write in response to last week's letter from Gerald Williams in relation to plans to move the district council on to one site.
Any single site proposal will be funded from the disposal of our existing offices and will not see any long-term borrowing - which means no extra cost to the taxpayer.
I believe that we can operate more efficiently on one site, thus costing the council taxpayer less.
This administration's first budget this year saw the lowest ever council tax increase in Wyre Forest, of 3.94 per cent.
It is my intention to be able to either match or better that low increase this year.
Council tax is not soaring in Wyre Forest while the current administration is at the helm.
