CLEOBURY Mortimer secured their first points of the Midlands Four West South season in fine style with an emphatic 46-5 victory over Berkswell and Balsall.
The Mortimer men ran in seven tries - each with different scorers - as they finally adapted to life at a higher level following their recent promotion.
Paul Hulland was the first to cross, followed by Pete Howman, Tony Heap, Tom Griffiths, James Manley, Colin Todd and Alan Shields.
Captaining the side in the absence of Paul Harding, Shields led by example by also kicking four conversions and a penalty.
Cleobury entertain Stoke Old Boys in the Powergen Junior Vase at 3pm on Saturday.
