CHADDESLEY Corbett are still breathing down Stourport's necks in North Midlands South Two after a 33-5 victory at Birmingham Exiles.
Rowan Vorster led the way with a hat-trick while Matt Halliwell and Matt Jackett also scored with Nick White adding four conversions.
The result keeps Chaddesley in second place with spokesman Nigel Evans insisting their impressive start has not come as a complete surprise.
"We've had a new coach, Phil Anthony, who has got us playing in a different way," said Evans.
"We're where we thought we'd be in the league, but we weren't expecting some of the margins of victory."
Chaddesley host Warley in a friendly on Saturday after deciding not to enter the Powergen Junior Vase.
l Evans himself was on the mark as the seconds suffered a 24-5 defeat to Yardley and District thirds.
They visit Warley seconds on Saturday.
