JUDD Doughty scored a hat-trick to help Worcester Men's Sixths thrash Stourport Sevenths 5-1.

Worcester dominated from the start and took the lead through Doughty and added another before the break through Stuart Munday.

Doughty again found the net in the second-half and Joe Drewitt made it four shortly after.

Stourport forced a consolation but Worcester wrapped up the game with Doughty completing his hat-trick.

The Firsts turned in a lacklustre performance to lose 5-3 at home to Melton Mowbray in Coaching Solutions Midlands Division One.

Ian Ewers' side dominated the opening 10 miutes but two soft goals gave Melton the lead before quick thinking from Chris Adams found James Cosh unmarked in the circle to fire home.

Melton scored a third before two goals from Adams made it 3-3 at the break.

An eye injury to captain Ewers forced a change in the second-half. Although Worcester had chances, they ended up conceeding two more soft goals.

Marcus Bolton scored the winner from a short corner as the Seconds defeated Harborne 1-0 to remain unbeaten.

Fine defensive performance from 'keeper Chris Thomas, skipper Andy Waters ensured victory.

The Thirds came from behind to beat Edgbaston 2-1.

Following a blank first-half, Edgbaston went ahead before James Quinn brought the sides level.

Worcester's winner came just minutes later with a quick break tore the opposition defence apart and a nice ball in to the 'D' from Phil Jones allowed captain Mark Chambers to score.

A derby match between the Fourths and Fifths ended in a 2-2 draw.

Rain prevented flowing hockey although the Fourths took the lead through Andy Hores from a short corner.

Andie Howie equalised for the Fifths and Kevin Oliver put them ahead.

The Fourths' patience was rewarded with Scott Seckham's deflected effort earned a point.

The Sevenths lost 3-0 at home to Droitwich.

A tight first-half kept the hosts to a one goal lead. The second saw Chambers have an effort disallowed.

Droitwich scored twice in the dying minutes.

Badgers Potters took advantage of Hampton-in-Arden's lack of a goalkeeper to win 8-2.

Worcester were 4-1 up at half-time and doubled their tally after the break.

Badgers Pippins crushed Redditch 9-0.

Worcester gained the upper hand when they opted to take the ball wider and use the space Redditch allowed.

The goals soon started to come and it was 3-0 at the interval.

The second-half saw more Worcester pressure and the goals continued to flow.

Worcester Women's Firsts lost 2-1 to a controversial penalty flick against Maidstone in National Division South.

Worcester failed to capitalise on early pressure and a lack of concentration at the back resulted in a Maidstone goal from a short corner.

Worcester rallied after the break and won a short corner, converted by Emma Hughes.

Julie Harwood was later denied by an outstanding save as Worcester created several opportunities.

But Maidstone were awarded a controversial penalty, which they converted.

The Seconds thrashed Harborne Thirds 8-0.

Despite being a player short, Worcester controlled the match from the outset.

However, a few lazy passes and relaxed attitude meant they only had a Becky Lewis strike to show for their first-half efforts.

Worcester stepped up their game and produced some silky skills to score a further seven goals.

The Thirds lost 8-0 at Redditch.

Redditch were well organised and were 3-0 up at the break.

A mixture of second-half pressure and silly mistakes allowed Redditch to increase the deficit.

n The Fourths were beaten 7-0 at home by Badsey.

After going two goals down early on, Worcester drove forward with good passing from Jenny White and Anna McGeoch.

But Badsey took control after the break and scored another five.
