A HALLOWE'EN extravaganza will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall to celebrate the town's musical achievements.
The Townhall'o'ween Party, which has been organised by Weak13 frontman, Nick Townsend, will take place on Thursday, October 27.
Mr Townsend said: "We are going to make it the biggest Hallowe'en celebration in Kidderminster. It will be a fantastic event for Kidderminster people.
"It's been a good year for music in Kidderminster. We seem to be leading the Midlands for live music. We have got bands from Kidderminster who are touring and promoting the town's name. It is a celebration of all their achievements."
It will also mark the launch of a new project called Townhall Records which will give bands the chance to have their performances recorded by producer, Matt Tarbuck (aka Neutron Tears).
Mr Townsend said: "We guarantee that at any event we organise at the town hall we will give bands and solo artists free live recordings of their performance for them to use.
"If bands or musicians are interested then they need to come down on October 27 and we will set up their act for a future recorded event."
Bands playing on the night include Escape from Alcatraz, Dauntless, Super B*tch, Weak13 and acoustic acts including Lee Chance, King Rich and Adam Parsons.
All the money raised from the party, which will also include a DJ workshop by Melo DJ, will go to the Wyre Forest Talking Newspaper.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, will be available on the door and are limited to 500.
