A WYRE Forest charity that rescues stray dogs and finds new homes for them is holding a sponsored walk to boost funds.
Forest Dog Rescue is inviting people to take part in the Walkies for life event that is being held this Sunday at Kidderminster's Brinton Park.
Another fund-raising walk is planned for October 23 at Stourport's Riverside Meadows. Dogs are welcome to join their owners at both events, which will run between 10am and 4pm.
Wendy Watts, Forest Dog Rescues chairman, said: ""People can walk one mile or 10 miles. It is totally up to the individual and if they cannot find any sponsors then they can donate a fee of £5."
Sponsorship forms are available from pet shops or contact Forest Dog Rescue on 01562 744909.
