Monday, October 3. Meeting with Town Clerk & short-listing candidates for vacant post. Attended meeting of Town Council's Promotion Committee.

Tuesday, October 4: Attended meeting at Evesham Hospital.

Wednesday, October 5: Attended South Worcs. Primary Care Trust meeting at County Hall, Worcester. Decision on closure of 2 wards deferred until December pending further reviews.

Thursday, October 6: Enjoyed visiting Blackminster Middle School for their Open Evening, meeting members of staff and pupils, watching displays and sampling cooking.

Friday, October 7: Meeting at Evesham High School. In the evening enjoyed a visit to Tewkesbury Mop Fair, taking a ride on the dodgems and "having a go" on various side shows. Both Tewkesbury Mayors (Borough & Town) robe for the opening of the fair and the wreath laying at the War Memorial. Saturday & Sunday: Two whole days to catch up on gardening, paperwork and finalising details for the Mayor's Ball to be held on 28th October.
