Evesham Ladies 2,
Droitwich II 0
HOPING to recapture their winning form, Evesham took to the pitch in a positive mood determined to win a third league game of the season.
Good play down the right from Karen Robinson and Danni Cox led to the opening goal when Vanessa Dufty found the net.
Sam Whiteford, Jude Taylor and Rhian Fuge limited the chances for Droitwich, while continued attacking resulted in a superb strike from Dufty bea-ting the keeper to make it 2-0.
The visitors then produced several threatening attacks that saw player of the match Char-maine Mitchell produce a series of excellent saves.
Evesham maintained the pressure after the interval thanks to good teamwork, accurate passing and plenty of possession.
Despite several good attacking moves, however, Evesham failed to find a third goal as Droitwich defended resolutely.
