A WORCESTER nightspot will be in the limelight this week when a radio and TV star DJs there.
BBC Radio 1 stalwart Vernon Kay will be appearing at Tramps nightclub in Angel Place from 9.30pm on Thursday, October 13.
The radio and television celebrity will join resident DJ JJ in pumping out funky tunes for revellers to dance to.
Vernon presents a show on Radio One every Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 1pm.
The star is also part of Channel 4's T4 team, which includes hosting Sunday shows as well as Saturday night show Boys and Girls.
He started off his career as a model after being spotted by agency Select at the BBC's Clothes Show Live, and has also been named Most Stylish Man by men's magazine FHM.
His appearance at Tramps follows other recent celebrity slots at the club by Celebrity Love Island winner Fran Cosgrove and Vernon's Radio One colleague DJ Spoony.
As part of the night, Tramps will also be offering drink promotions. Tickets for the event are on sale now at Vibe, in Angel Place, or people can pay on the door on the night.
