MEMBERS of Studley's Blue and White Skippers were among the honours when they played host to the British Masters event at the village's Leisure Centre.
Competitors from across the country converged on the centre and the judges came from Belgium, Germany and Hungary in addition to the UK.
And two of the club's winners have an extra reason to celebrate. Amy Bayliss took the honours in the u11s competition while Bobby Thomas lifted the 12-14yrs boys. And now the pair have been invited to appear on children's channel CBBC.
Other Blue and White winners were Abigail Wiseman in the Novice u11s who pipped clubmates Emma Wright and Kate Horobin.
Rozina Jones was runner-up to Amy in the u11s championship while Emma Robinson won the 12-14yrs girls.
The 15 years and over was a qualifier for the World Championships, to be held in Canada next July. The top three, who booked their places, were clubmates Rachael Dale, Beci Dale and Kim Averiss.
