EVESHAM United failed to get the better of fellow strugglers Gloucester City as they drew 0-0 at Common Road last night.
Both teams are at the wrong end of the Southern League Premier Division and succeeded only in cancelling each other out in a matched watched by 219 people.
Dave Busst's side came closest to breaking the deadlock when a Gloucester defender turned the ball against his own crossbar with five minutes left.
Evesham, who slip to second from bottom in the table, looked slightly more dangerous and pushed for a winner by replacing Jae Martin with Jermaine Clarke for the last half-hour.
Meanwhile, second-from-bottom Stourport Swifts continued their bad run with a 3-2 home defeat to Paulton Rovers in Division One West last night.
In their first game under new boss Roy Rencher after his return from a pre-booked holiday, Swifts went ahead through Danny Bragoli on 31 minutes.
But Ben Cleverley, with a free-kick, and Mike Kilgour struck before half-time to put Paulton ahead in front of 84 fans who turned out in driving rain.
Sean Seavill added a third in the 74th minute with Findlay replying six minutes from time.
