STRATFORD'S Civic Hall is the venue for the opening concert of the Orchestra of the Swan's 10th anniversary series.
Conducted by David Curtis, the concert is part of the Stratford-upon-Avon Music Festival taking place from October 14-22.
Soloist David Quigley, a former finalist in the BBC's Young Musician of the Year competition, plays Beet-hoven's Third Piano Con-certo in the programme, which also includes Prok-ofiev's Classical Symphony and Mozart's Symphony No 40 in G minor.
The concert, which starts at 7.30pm, is preceded at 6.45pm by In Conversation with David Curtis and David Quigley, free to all concert ticket holders. Tickets cost £10-15. For more details, call the box office on 01789 207100.
