OPENING action in the Worcestershire Cricket Centre Indoor League resulted in wins for the Evesham Academy, Great Alne and Badsey.
In the first game of the evening, Offenham struggled to come to terms with the indoor game apart from skipper Belcher's 28.
Evesham chased down their total of 60 without losing a wicket with retirements for Newman (27) and Andrew Fisher (26).
Great Alne were victorious in the second game after posting a formidable 130- 4 against Harvington.
Temple was unbeaten on 53 for the winners with Henderson adding 32 not out.
Harvington put up valiant resistance finishing on 106-3 with Jones and Monks both retiring having scored 25 and 28 respectively.
In the closest game of the night, Badsey overcame Elmley by a single run.
Badsey totalled 111 all out thanks to Nick Powell's 41 and 26 from dad Dave.
In reply, Elmley fell agonisingly short of victory despite 24 from Webb and 25 from Corbett.
The most economical bowler of the evening was Evesham's Matt Knight who only conceded ten runs from his three overs.
