ONCE again our Bromsgrove MP is taking advantage of the achievements of others to get some free publicity.
I am referring to the picture in last week's edition, supposedly of a group of very determined young people from local schools who competed, and did well, in the Keilder Challenge.
Nothing whatsoever to do with Ms Kirkbride's own abilities, yet she is in prime position and the youngsters appear, hardly recognisable, in the shadows behind her.
As the article concerned their success, why were they not in the forefront?

l Rather unfair to criticise or blame Julie Kirkbride for where she was positioned in the photograph as this was where she was requested to stand by our photographer and not where she insisted on being. As for the quality of the photo's reproduction that is something we are disappointed with ourselves. There was a problem during production of the page, and the picture, and considerable clarity was lost.
