TV's leading antiques and collectables experts will be appearing at Collect it!, a major new fair for collectors to be held at The NEC, Birmingham, later this month.
The fair will be held on October 22-23 and will feature exhibitors from across the world displaying a wide range of new and discontinued collectables, limited editions and collector's items. ceramics, pottery, stoneware, silver, costume jewellery, enamels, plastics, metal ware, toys, dolls, teddies, linen, lace, posters, memorabilia and ephemera from the past fifty years will be for sale.
Prices will start at £1, rising to more than £5,000. Among the TV names appearing in the Celebrity Theatre and Collectors Workshop will be Paul Atterbury, (The Antiques Roadshow and The 20th Century Roadshow).
, Judith Miller (The House Detectives, The Antiques Trail and The Martha Stewart Show), Mark Hill (The 20th Century Roadshow), Chris Gower (Sun Sea & Bargain Spotting), Tracey Martin (This Morning), Mark Oliver (Cash in the Attic) and Jonty Hearndon (Cash in the Attic / Sun, Sea & Bargain Spotting). Admission to the Celebrity Theatre and Workshops will be free.
The experts will be speaking on a variety of topics of interest to collectors, including costume jewellery, ceramics and glass. They will also take questions from the audience and be on hand to sign copies of their latest books.
At Collect it! visitors will be able to buy many top collecting items by makers, designers and artists.
