The annual general meeting of Lickey WI was held at the parish hall.
Final arrangements were made for a coach outing to Chester today (Wednesday).
Irene Scott was thanked for organising tickets for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in September and theatre visits for 2006 were discussed.
The competition for a small handmade craft item was won by Christine Allen and there were three lucky raffle winners.
WI advisor Janice Jones presided over the AGM and spoke about the workings of WI, explaining various terms and abbreviations used. Both the financial statement and annual report were given and adopted.
Sue Mayne was re-elected as president of a full committee, including one new member, Margaret Wright.
Sue thanked everyone both on and off the committee for their help and support during the year.
The next meeting will be held at the parish hall on Tuesday, November 1, when Janet Woodfield will demonstrate flower arrangements.
The competition will be for a flower of the month.
